We want to free up people's time so they can focus on what they do best and leave the repetitive work to artificial intelligence. That means efficiency, saving money and, most of all, saving time.

Great things rarely happen by chance. They happen when the right skills and experiences meet the right problem at the right moment. Get the timing wrong, and even a good team with a good idea never takes off.

SUIAPP.AI is a technology company founded by three friends who met while attending the University of Connecticut in 2010. Ricardo and Jeff are brothers from a Bolivian family who grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, while Rifat grew up in Newington, Connecticut.

Ricardo came to the U.S. from Bolivia at age six. Despite having little money, their father saw the vision of a new era and bought the family its first computer, a Compaq Presario, in 1992. Ricardo became the one who kept it running. He graduated from UConn summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a love of writing, design and analysis. That led him to government projects as a business systems analyst, where he worked with users to simplify Medicaid workflows.

His brother Jeff was the outgoing salesman. Since childhood, Jeff was always finding ways to satisfy customers, whether it was selling candy at school or lemonade at a construction site. He met Rifat at UConn while studying biofuels and ways to make energy more affordable. His career, though, led him to sales in tax and accounting. At Paychex, a major payroll company, he specialized in selling to former clients and became one of the top salespeople in the nation, in the top 5% for performance. There he saw firsthand the pain of business owners who lacked the proper documents and were out of compliance, often owners who did not speak English or did not understand how to navigate the government forms. That is what led Jeff to start building software that makes the process easy for anyone.

Rifat's family came to the U.S. from Bangladesh in 2000. A UConn computer engineer, he found his first testing job so repetitive that he automated it himself. That instinct took him from fintech to Disney, where he built secure data pipelines designed to scale.

They studied side by side at the Islamic Center of UConn and stayed friends. When Jeff saw his clients struggling with clunky unemployment insurance portals, he brought the problem to Ricardo and Rifat.

For years, the timing was not there. Automating a government process, in plain language and in seven languages, was work only large firms with large budgets could take on. The arrival of AI changed that. It gave curious people with the right mix of experience the tools to solve problems that used to be out of reach, and the three of them were ready.

Together, they built a guided application with support at every step, made for everyone regardless of background or language.

That's what SUIAPP.AI is about: collaboration that gives people their time back. That's time to grow their business, rest a little easier, and be with the people who matter most.
